Systems design, drawn by hand

Design walkthroughs

Draw the architecture, walk a room through it, and mark it up as you go. In your browser, shared only with the people you invite.

One page per system, drawn rather than rendered, and annotated live.

What it is for

One page, three jobs

Design the architecture

Lay the system out as a drawing rather than a slide. Boxes, flows, and the decisions behind them, on one page you keep changing as the design settles.

Plan it with your team

Mark up the page while you talk, and anyone reading can leave a comment in the margin. What was agreed is still there at the next session.

Demo it to anyone

The same page serves the engineers who will build it and the stakeholders who have to approve it. No rebuild, no second deck, no translation.

Who can see it

Private by invitation

  • Shared per walkthrough, not per site. An invite to one page reaches no other.
  • Google sign-in, so there is no password to set, send or store.
  • No public listing and no secret link. Everyone else is turned away.
